Overall, wonderfulMar 17, 2011
By Nicole I have been getting more sensitive to metals, so I thought I would give these a try. They where cheap, so I figured no big deal if I couldn't wear them. I put them in with a bit of oil on the peg, and they where comfortable and didn't hurt. I wore them for several hours. My only concern was when I removed them, either the wood had swollen, or had gotten shoved to far on the tapered peg, as they where a tad bit stuck. This caused a little discomfort, but was much less painful then when I wear metal posts. I am going to A)try to sand them down a bit smoother and smaller B)Try beeswax and if all else fails, I will try a bone peg... but this was way more comfortable then wearing metal posts, and that makes me happy.
Tribal but primitiveDec 17, 2011
By alexper714 I got these earrings thinking they'd make for a cool sleek tribal style. When I got them and tried them on, they were bulky and the small stick that is supposed to go through the earring and piercing hole was super hard to put on so that it came through on the other side. Plus after not being sure and trying to get the stick out, it got stuck and broke. Not buying another pair anytime soon.
