The etched symbol stands for "Longevity". The beads are dZi beads. dZi (pronounced Zee) is a Tibetan word to describe a patterned, tubular agate bead (known as "Heaven's Bead" in Chinese). dZi beads are etched from Agate, and can date back thousands of years. Such beads are etched black-and-white or brown-and-white, with symbols comprised of circles, ovals, square, waves, stripes, lines and various other symbolic patterns - each of these symbols holds a specific meaning. Tibetans believe dZi beads to possess the power to bring about good influence associated with protection, prosperity, attracting wealth, fostering good health and ward against evil. Wear this bracelet for its beauty as well as historical and cultural significance. | | | Features: | |

Not that reddishJan 05, 2011
By Amazonian Fits nicely. You get what you see in the picture....except the tiles are a darker version of brown. It's more of a muted color as opposed to a vibrant reddish brown being displayed in the photo. I actually like this version but can understand why someone would be displeased. I think as long as you're expecting something that looks brown you should be fairly satisfied.
